The adventure....

Have you been playing along with the 8 week Heidi Swapp Memory Album Adventure? Today I wanted to share a few more of my favourite pages  of three different weeks. I have one week left before Heidi completes the 8 week adventure this Monday.
I better get a wriggle on and finish it!
Starting with Jamie Pate's inspiration using Quotes, she really is the master of beautiful layers.

Then came my week which you can find here.

Next Jennifer Evans asked us to think about ourselves...eek I'm not one to be in front of the camera very often so I had to dig deep and find some photos of me!

The beautiful Lindsay Bateman  asked us to celebrate the here and now!
What is important to YOU right now!

Soon I will share my last 3 sets of pages...I am loving the layers  these  memories are creating.

I would love to see your pages be sure to link me up!

Hens night..

This layout was shared recently on the Bella Blvd blog using their Engaged at Last collection. The colours were perfect for my Hens night photos from 8 years ago...gosh times has flown.

I was inspired by the lovely Melinda Spinks with my  circle elements!

I added in a little concertina book tied with gold thread to hold some extra photos.

the second time...

You may have heard the exciting news about Heidi Swapp releasing some brand new stencils. Last week on the Heidi Swapp blog we got a chance to play and this is what I came up with. I used three different stencils, the Sunshine to create the ray effect on the cover of my memory file. I inked the rays with versamark ink and sprinkled them with different colours of embossing powder.

The dots at the top and bottom of my layout. Here I used some grey ink and sponged over the top of the stencil. I also added in some Greatest View flair over the top of some fun Clear Pop banners.

and finally the chevron. I used the stencil as an embossing folder and ran it through my big shot with some Core'dinations cardstock, I then sanded the pattern to reveal the core.
The mini memory file opens to reveal this....

Here I share the background story behind my layout. We recently went to Currumbin Bird Sanctuary on the Gold Coast...It brought back memories of me going when I was a child. I went digging through some old photos and found them from my visit back then.

Over on the Bella Blvd blog this week we are celebrating Stephanie's up and  coming wedding this weekend. I chose to scrap my favourite photos from the day, two candid shots snapped by our photographer .

Hello mum

This layout was recently up on the Pebbles blog celebrating Mothers Day. It's a special layout for me as it also celebrates my son being out of hospital and well again while we were on our holiday in January.

to all the mums...

With mothers day this weekend it was a perfect opportunity to create a few projects with mums in mind. Over on the Heidi Swapp blog we teamed up with Petaloo flowers. I created this card
using ColorShine mist to colour the flowers. The "mum" word is a FREE cut file available here just for us Aussie mums!

Addison my son helped me by creating a secret message for me using a white oil pastel and paper that was hidden inside the card. I share later in my post and on my video how the secret message was revealed.

I then created a display stand using my favourite photos, digi downloads, Petaloo flowers and Heidi Swapp papers embellishments.

Here you can see the message that Addison wrote me. He used Mint ColorShine mist over the oil pastel which created a  resist effect!

I then misted my youngest son's hand in Teal ColorShine and stamped his hand on the paper along side a poem I found on the internet.

and the video...
