fresh style...

So I'm all over the place with my project life weeks. Today I'm sharing week 8.

As you know, we are having a little 'Style it Up' week over at Greatest View . Loads of inspiration,  a fab Freebie  and a *Flair GIVEWAY*!
Gail created two sets of badges called In Style and Fresh Style, and there is a free downloadable journalling card set to match each style. I got to play with the yummy Fresh Style flair and download found here.
This week was a topsy turvey week. Watching Heidi Swapp on her live webshow was a definite high then having my son back in hospital for a few hours a low point.

 The left side.

and the right side...

Don't you just love the GR reader! I downloaded the QR reader App to my iphone and created this barcode, I can now scan it and watch the webshow at anytime.

Here you can see I used one of the journalling cards! I just added some red pattern paper to it to match the colours in my PL spread!

I wanted to keep my sons drawing so I just cut it in half , folded it over and placed it into the plastic sleeve pockets.

Chevron flair from the Fresh Style set!

I teach at a local scrapbook shop once a month!  Lovin this striped flair also from Fresh Style!

My son and his best friend drawing maps, I took photos of their maps and printed them out onto photo paper, now I have a permanent record!

Dont forget there is a *GIVEAWAY* of each set of FRESH STYLE and IN STYLE flair over on the Greatest View blog, all you need to do is go leave a comment on the Greatest View blog ! Easy Right!

101 ideas media team blog hop

Ok...so even though I'm from Australia and we do not have Micheals over here I am still totally excited to see and use these new Heidi Swapp products.

When Heidi asked her media team to help spread the news and create new projects we all jumped at the chance. The patterns and colours of the new products and re released ones are to die for and the projects you could create with them are endless. Here are just two of my favourites...

The Chipboard stickers are so much fun I love the bright happy colours. So easy to use just peel and stick.
The photo cluster is perfect, the layering is already done for you you just stick the whole banner straight onto your project and it looks like you worked so hard on all those layers.

So over the next 101 days there is going to be inspiration galore ( including step x step instructions for every project)  over on the Heidi Swapp website here  using these new goodies, here are just two of my 18   projects I will be sharing...

A mini album using the Color Magic Party banners and the Chipboard Stickers

A layout using Color Magic paper, The photo cluster and other new goodies.

Hop on over to the other girls blogs to see some more inspiration from this very exciting re release and new products!

This project called life

So I have jumped on the Project Life bandwagon, dont worry Im still scrapping my regular layouts as well, I just wanted to try it out this year and I love it!

My friend Chantalle created these FREEBIE "Back to school" printables, pop on over to her blog and down load them, tell her I said hi and she would love for you to her follow her too!

...and of course a perfect place to use a "school" flair from Greatest View!

I created a little flap using a cut up sleeve, My youngest came home with his first pieces of art work from kindy, they were too big to fit in my album so I took a photo of them and printed them out!

Another of the "back to School" printables

Im running a few weeks behind but I hope to try to catch up soon!

organising..

If you are anything like me when all those notes come home from school they either got lost or thrown in the bin. I decided to make a note holder for my fridge using a Heidi Swapp Memory File folder.

I simply laid it out open and flat and creased and folded about 6 inches from the bottom. I then added double side tape to each sides and secured them to form the pocket.

I added a little note book in case I needed to write anything down.

The apple I cut with my cameo.

This is one of Heidi's free printable calender sheets, I will change this out each month.!

Now just to make sure I use it!!!
